We celebrated our local businesses and professionals at our biennial City of Charles Sturt Business Recognition Awards held at Woodville Town Hall.
The event celebrated 41 award winners and many more finalists. The awards themselves received 284 nominations across the 9 award categories, from so many organisations and industries in our local business community. Our businesses nominated in the People’s Choice Awards received 4,660 votes, which shows how much our local businesses are loved in their communities.
The Hon. Nadia Clancy MP, Minister for Small Business and Minister for Multicultural Affairs, followed Mayor Angela Evans in addressing 275 attendees.
The event was a local showcase, hosted by 7 News presenter Mike Smithson, with catering from NNQ, beverages by Bowden Cellars, printing by Bowden Print Group and florals by Lily West Floral Designers.
Thank you to our Silver Sponsors — the Woodville West Torrens Football Club, Business Hub, Beltana Conveyancing, and MILCO — along with our Bronze Sponsor, Mind to Mind Psychology.
We would like to thank and recognise our esteemed judging panel for the extremely challenging task of assessing this year awards nominations:
