Library Services

Key features, facilities, and services available at Hindmarsh Library:

• free wifi and computer access
• photocopying, printing, scanning, faxing and laminating facilities (EFTPOS only - no cash)
• Art in the Community – gallery space for local artists and crafts people
• council customer payments accepted during library opening hours (Cheque and EFTPOS only - no cash)
• Justice of the Peace services, subject to availability. Please check our calendar to confirm dates and times.
• home library service for people unable to visit the library
• free bike hire through Bike SA
• recycle station – recycle some less common household items like spectacles, spent cosmetics, oral care, pens, markers, cables, connectors and more.
• library merchandise for sale – earphones (EFTPOS only)
• express collection – one-week loan for popular items (no reservations, no renewals, two item limit)
• family history resources – Hindmarsh Cemetery burial records and local history books
