What is being digital?
Being digital (previously Digi Learn) is the state-wide adult digital literacy program offered by all SA public libraries, and which Charles Sturt Libraries is now a part of.
But what does digital literacy mean? Digital literacy refers to a range of skills that help you use technology safely and effectively and to participate in the digital world. This can include things like:
- using your digital device - including laptops, tablets and smartphones
- understanding online safety and how to keep yourself safe
- web browsing and websites
- installing and using apps
- making sense of your operating system - Windows 10, Android and iOS
- new and emerging technology.
To get started, you can visit the official page for links to helpful activities, guides and webinars.
