Easter & ANZAC Day Operating Hours

All Council locations including our Civic Centre, community centres, libraries, Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre and our Immunisation Clinic will be closed on:

  • 18-21 April (Easter break)
  • 25 April (ANZAC Day)

Kerbside collections:
Collections scheduled for Friday 18 April will occur on Saturday 19 April.
All other collections will continue as normal.

You can easily make a report via our Customer Portal.
You can call our afterhours emergency line on 8408 1111 for assistance with non life-threatening emergencies at any time.

Our spaces are available for hire outside of these hours.

Closed on public holidays, Easter weekend & Christmas.

Ngutungka Henley is our City's newest integrated library and community centre.

This vibrant community destination features a wide range of programs, activities, and library services, and is the result of extensive consultation with our community.

Key features, facilities, and services available at Ngutungka Henley include:

  • Library collection: A diverse collection including fiction, non-fiction, magazines, large print, board games, Make-Bake-Decorate Collection, Library of Things, Immersive Reality (IR) books, DVDs and more!
  • Community Kitchen: A fully functional kitchen, available for booking for events.
  • Exhibition space: For artists, innovators, collectors, and curiosities.
  • Meeting rooms: Private spaces with AV setup.
  • Toilets and Changing Places: All-accessible toilets, parents' room, and a Changing Places facility to support people with higher needs.
  • Kids' reading area: A comfortable and fun spot to sit and read.
  • Free Wi-fi and computer access.
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning facilities (EFTPOS only).
  • Justice of the Peace services on Wednesdays, 2-4pm, subject to availability. Please always check our calendar on the day to confirm.
  • Home library service for people who are unable to visit the library.
