Pocket Parks Are Adding Green Space To Brompton and Bowden
The City of Charles Sturt has developed two 'pocket parks' as part of the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP). The parks, located at Chief Street, Brompton and Drayton Street, Bowden, provide new green spaces for the community. Key benefits include urban cooling, more trees, improved seating, outdoor fitness equipment, and community garden beds.
Project Background
This project is funded by the Department of Infrastructure & Transport (DIT), and construction of the reserves will be managed by the City of Charles Sturt.
