We support events, festivals and exhibitions in our local community.
To list your approved event in our calendar of events, please complete the form below. These details may be used in various publications.
Please note: This is to help our community promote upcoming events. This is not to secure a permit or approval for events.
Calendar of Events Conditions
- The City of Charles Sturt does not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies, changes, errors, omissions or any misconceptions that may occur in the Calendar of Events and other related publications.
- It is at the discretion of the City of Charles Sturt to determine the information and/or images that will appear in the Calendar of Events and related publications.
- Events should meet the following criteria to be listed under Council's Calendar of Events.
- A promotional image must be supplied and must be 1920 (width) x 1280 (height) pixels in size in .jpg or .png format.
- Events must be submitted via the form a minimum of one week before the event date to allow adequate time to promote to our community.
The event must:
- be held within Council boundaries.
- have a connection to the City of Charles Sturt. This could be either:
- run by our City
- organised by a community group, organisation or program that is supported by a City grant, sponsorship or partnership
- be open and accessible to our City's residents
- have a tourism or community participation focus with clear local benefits.
- be free or low cost.
- not involve any illegal activity.
- be a "one off" event and not an ongoing activity.
- have a web link for more information or to register.
