Economic Support and Stimulus Package

Our Economic Support and Stimulus package will inject $100.5 million dollars into our community to support the economic sectors of our community in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Business SA Scholarships for Entrepreneurs

A great way to develop your skills and get advice is through a mentor. Our Council provides scholarships to residents to participate in three entrepreneurial programs run by Business SA.

South Australian Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (SAYES) is a government-funded 12-month program designed to assist young and innovative entrepreneurs aged 18-35 years turn their business concept into a reality or focus on creating a sustainable business model for a newly established business.

The Encore Program is a workshop and mentoring program for South Australians aged 35 or above looking to either establish a new business or grow an existing one. The City of Charles Sturt recently sponsored Lisa Murphy, founder of Big Heart Adventures to be an Encore Participant in 2020. You can read her story here.

Whether your business is new to exporting or you’re looking to train staff to grow your exporting business, the Export Ready Program may be what your business needs.
