In accordance with the Local Government Act 1999, the Council or the CEO can from time to time arrange for information or briefing sessions that may be used to discuss issues that involve strategy or policy or other matters of Council administration and to brief Council Members on issues relating to their decision-making function.
These sessions may be open or closed to the public and a list of upcoming topics are listed below.
Some sessions may be held in confidence as the receipt, consideration or discussion of the information or matter in an information or briefing session open to the public would, on balance, be contrary to the public interest. The legislative reason for these sessions held in confidence is listed against the respective session.
