Disc Golf at MJ McInerney Reserve

Try Disc Golf at MJ McInerney Reserve

Disc Golf is a fun outdoor sport where players throw a flying disc (like a frisbee) into a metal basket - a bit like golf, but with discs instead of balls and clubs! It's easy to learn, free to play, and great for all ages.

Practise at MJ McInerney Reserve

We've installed three disc golf baskets at MJ McInerney Reserve so you can learn and practise the game. There are no fixed tees - just pick a safe spot and create your own course.

For a full 18-hole experience, visit Adelaide Park Lands - King Rodney Park / Ityamai-Itpina (Park 15).

How to Play

  1. Pick a starting point and aim for the basket.
  2. Throw your disc toward the target.
  3. Take your next throw from where your disc lands.
  4. Keep count - the fewest throws wins!

Quick Tips

  • Any frisbee works to start.
  • Aim low and throw smoothly.
  • Watch for other park users and play safely.

Why Play?
