Woodville Town Hall’s free music series Foyer Fridays returns for a third series of local, live music and performances by talented artists.

Venue registrations for Adelaide Fringe 2021 are open from Wednesday, 22 July 2020.

Event registrations for Adelaide Fringe 2021 are open from Tuesday, 18 August 2020.

About Umbrella Festival

Umbrella Festival is a major, multi-week, open-access live music celebration of gigs across music venues in SA.

Music SA has made the following accommodations for Umbrella Festival with contingency plans in place, should they be required.

The Umbrella Festival (previously set to open on 17th July) will be rescheduled to Friday 18 September - Sunday 4 October 2020.

Music SA is waiving the registration fee of $25 to allow the festival to be more accessible after the inevitable loss of income due to event cancellations and venue closures amidst the COVID-19 restrictions.

City of Charles Sturt is home to iconic live music venues such as The Gov, The Adelaide Entertainment Centre, as well as intimate historic venues such as The Lady Daly Hotel, Plant 4, Ramsgate Hotel and Woodville Town Hall to name a few.

City of Charles Sturt is also home to three recording studios, Wizard Tone Studios, Fat Trax Studios and Chapel Lane Studios.

Beyond Mad March, these local venues offer unique year-round theatre experiences.

Housed in the heritage listed All Saints' Anglican Church (also known as All Saints' Church) complex in Hindmarsh, Holden Street Theatres boasts three performance spaces: The Studio, The Arch and The Bar.

The newest theatre venue to call our city home is Rumpus, a collective of theatre makers based in Bowden offering affordable, accessible and innovative theatre experiences.

The City of Charles Sturt welcomes busking within the City, it’s free and no permit is required provided artists adhere to our Busking Guidelines.
