Kristie Johnson: General Manager of Engaged Community
Kristie has worked for the City of Charles Sturt for more than 15 years after beginning her career in the Senate in Canberra.
Kristie has served on the Local Government Professionals SA Board since 2020 and has two decades of experience across media, communications, customer experience, consultation, engagement, community advocacy and strategy. She was a key member of the 2009 and 2010 Australasian winning LGMA Challenge Teams and earned the 2018 LG Professionals SA Emerging Leader of the Year Award.
Kristie holds a Masters Degree in Journalism, Honours in International Politics and Graduate Diploma in Business Management and was appointed General Manager of the Engaged Community Division in 2024 which encompasses:
