The ever popular School Holiday Sports (SHS) program operates twice per year, during the April and October School Holidays only.

The next SHS program runs from Friday 11 April to Sunday 27 April 2025.

NOTE: Some SHS activities may be impacted by Public Holidays during this period, including Good Friday on 18 April, Easter Monday on 21 April, and ANZAC Day on Monday 25 April 2025.

The SHS program enables kids aged 3-17 years to:

• Try new or different sport and recreation activities FREE of charge
• Increase their level of physical activity
• Learn about creating a healthy lifestyle through sport and recreation
• Boost their self-esteem and self-confidence
• Make new friends.

Almost 3,000 children were involved in School Holiday Sports activities across Charles Sturt in 2024.
