The ever popular School Holiday Sports (SHS) program operates twice per year, during the April and October School Holidays only.
The next SHS program runs from Friday, 27 September to Sunday, 13 October 2024, with 22 sport providers offering 76 activities across the City.
NOTE: Some SHS activities may be impacted by the Labour Day Public Holiday on Monday, 7 October 2024.
The SHS program enables kids aged 3-17 years to:
- Try new or different sport and recreation activities FREE of charge
- Increase their level of physical activity
- Learn about creating a healthy lifestyle through sport and recreation
- Boost their self-esteem and self-confidence
- Make new friends.
Almost 3,000 children were involved in School Holiday Sports activities across Charles Sturt in 2023.
