Tasting Australia

Tasting Australia is the country’s longest running eating and drinking festival.

As a major event that celebrates SA’s amazing food culture, we want help share the incredible businesses, experiences, people, produce and place that exist in every corner of our City.

In 2024, Tasting Australia will take place over 10 days and 2 weekends between 3–12 May 2024 with events held across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

From comfort food, to gelato tasting, learning how to grow your own mushies, or simply making the most of the night with food and dance - there's something for everyone.

We’ll also be hosting our own events with Tasting the World in Charles Sturt cooking workshops at Ngutungka West Lakes. Eat, listen and learn treasured family recipes from some of the wonderful people that represent the rich tapestry of cultures in the City of Charles Sturt.

The workshops, will share Italian, Vietnamese, South Indian and Ugandan food, migration stories and teach people how to make some precious family recipes that our presenters brought with them from their homelands. These are more than family recipes. They are family histories on a plate and real food made with love.

There's a host of other delicious Tasting Australia events and food experiences all over Charles Sturt too. Here’s the full list and links to buy tickets before they sell out.
