All Council locations including our Civic Centre, community centres, libraries, Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre and our Immunisation Clinic will be closed on ANZAC Day, Thursday 25 April.

Kerbside waste and recycling collections will continue as normal.

Waste (blue lid)

Waste: Blue Bin 

The blue bin is for general household waste. This is for anything that can't go in recycling (yellow bin) or organics (green bin).

Your blue bin is collected weekly.

What can go in your blue bin:

  • nappies
  • plastic bags, garbage bags & non recyclable plastic & food packaging (eg chip packets)
  • kitty litter (wrapped)
  • video tapes
  • small broken household items such as china & glassware (including light globes)
  • cling film & wine bladders
  • rags and clothing that cannot be donated or given as hand-me-downs
  • expanded polystyrene (including meat trays & cups)
  • ropes & hoses
