Expression of Interest For Henley Beach Properties

12 June 2026

The EOI is now closed. Thank you to those who applied and we look forward to reviewing and assessing the applicants.

136 North St Henley Beach and 196A Military Road, Henley Beach (above) are the two properties we are seeking an Expression of Interest for.

The City of Charles Sturt is inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) for future use and activation opportunities relating to two Council-owned properties within the Henley Beach precinct:

-  136 North Street, Henley Beach – located adjacent to the Henley & Grange RSL
-  196A Military Road, Henley Beach – former Henley & Grange Community Centre

Through this EOI process, we are seeking ideas and proposals that contribute positively to the Charles Sturt  community and support the use and stewardship of these properties.

We welcome submissions from community organisations, businesses, service providers, social enterprises, educational institutions and other interested parties.

Potential proposals may include community, service-based, commercial, educational, partnership or activation opportunities that support the community and align with the character, function and needs of the surrounding precinct.

We do not have a predetermined future use for either property and are open to a range of proposals through an open and transparent assessment process.

The properties will remain in Council ownership and are not being offered for sale as part of this process.

Inspection access
To assist interested parties, we will be providing access to inspect the properties on Friday 26 June. Please contact Kelly Mader on 0408 644 747 to confirm times.
