A 3D impression of the new facility.

Work on the redevelopment of Cyril Baxter Hall at Grange Recreation Reserve is set to commence on 20 January 2025, with completion expected by 30 October 2025. The existing facility, home to the SA Amateur Soccer League and Grange Cricket Club, will be replaced with a modern, two-storey sporting facility designed to meet the needs of these clubs and the wider community.

Highlights of the new facility include:

  • Striking architectural design featuring curved brickwork
  • Purpose-built spaces such as change rooms, canteens, office areas, and amenities
  • Improved oval views from tiered seating, balconies, and function spaces

The design has been carefully planned in consultation with the clubs to ensure the layout meets their needs, prioritising functionality and accessibility for all users.

This project is funded by the State Government - Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) and the City of Charles Sturt, with the design by Stallard Meek Flightpath Architects and construction by Mykra Pty Ltd.

We’re looking forward to seeing this new facility come to life, providing a vibrant, updated space for sport and recreation at Grange Recreation Reserve.
