A collection of detailed watercolour, printmaking and mixed-media artworks shaped by close observation and a deep love of nature. Georgia (Georgie) Russell is a dedicated and talented visual artist and the founder of Rosie George Designs.
Working primarily in linocut printmaking, Georgie also explores watercolour and mixed media, often combining expressive detail with a playful, surrealist aesthetic. Her work reflects both technical skill and a deeply personal creative voice. Georgie began her artistic journey in high school, where she first discovered a passion for visual art. She has since undertaken formal training in Visual Arts and Contemporary Crafts, including studies at the Ruth Tuck Art School.
Today, she practices from Tutti Arts in South Australia, where she continues to refine her craft and exhibit her work. Diagnosed with partial deafness and autism spectrum disorder in her early adolescence, and then epilepsy shortly after, Georgie’s creative practice is also shaped by her lived experience as an artist with disability. She is passionate about inclusion and representation in the arts and aspires to be a role model and ambassador for other artists with disability.
