Works to restore Central Park Pond are progressing well.

It is now being refilled and once the water reaches the required level, the systems will be tested and recommissioned, with any final adjustments made before the Pond returns to normal operation.
We’ll continue to provide updates as the pond returns to normal operation.
We're pleased to advise that work has commenced to return the Central Park Pond, West Lakes to operation.
Over the coming weeks our contractors will undertake investigations, repairs and recommissioning works to the pond's electrical, pump and fountain systems to ensure the infrastructure can operate safely and reliably. Works will commence later this week with service locating, before progressing to repairs and system recommissioning.
Once these are complete, the Pond will be refilled, and we will implement a maintenance program to manage water quality, cleanliness and presentation.
Our aim is to have the Pond returned to an acceptable standard within the next 4 to 6 weeks (September 2026).
We appreciate your patience while this work is undertaken and look forward to restoring this important community asset for our residents and visitors.
