What does arts and culture mean to you?
Whether it's enjoying live music, creating art, celebrating culture, joining a workshop or simply connecting with others through creative experiences, arts and culture help shape vibrant, welcoming communities.
We're inviting our community to have their say on the Draft Arts & Culture Plan 2026 -2029, which outlines how we will support creativity across the City of Charles Sturt and help deliver our Community Vision of being "a place to call home, a place where we belong."
Our vision is for creativity to be visible, accessible and part of everyday life, ensuring our investment in arts and culture delivers lasting social, cultural and place-making benefits. The plan will be implemented over time, with priorities evolving through partnerships, community input and opportunities as they arise.
The Draft Arts & Culture Plan 2026 -2029 aims to:
- Strengthen community connection and belonging through shared creative experiences
- Create more opportunities for everyone to participate, with fewer barriers
- Support wellbeing and quality of life through creative activity
- Celebrate a confident and distinctive cultural identity for Charles Sturt
- Embed creativity into everyday life across our neighbourhoods.
Share your feedback before 4 August 2026.
