At Charles Sturt Libraries, we love supporting young readers, writers, and storytellers. Each year, we host the Mayoral Make-A-Book Literacy Challenge, where kids create their own books for a chance to win a $30 store voucher.
This challenge is open to any pre-school or primary school aged child who lives or studies in the City of Charles Sturt council area.
Entries can include stories, graphic novels, poetry, or informational books - and can be physical, eBooks, or audiobooks Submissions are open from 1 February to 3 July 2026.
