Help Shape Our City's Future

28 October 2026

What could our City look like in 2040?

Our draft City Plan 2040 sets out 20 key directions to guide our City’s future. It brings our Community Vision to life, planning for where and how Charles Sturt can evolve as our population, neighbourhoods, economy, climate and ways of moving change.

Drawing on existing strategies, research and community insights, the Draft Plan identifies where we should lead, invest, investigate, partner and advocate. It aims to manage growth while protecting what we value, ensuring infrastructure, open space, transport connections and community facilities keep pace.

Our community remains key. The Draft Plan also considers what helps people feel welcome, informed, connected and able to shape the places they call home.

Have your say by Wednesday 25 November 2026.
