We’re excited to bring back our Doggy Day in May event series for its second year.
Throughout May, we’ll be hosting a range of educational events and activities to celebrate the Pets of Charles Sturt, and the people who love them. The program focuses on supporting happy, healthy, well‑behaved dogs (and cats) by helping pet owners build confidence, strengthen bonds and learn more about pet behaviour and training.
What's on this year?
- ‘Ask a trainer’ drop in session
- Puppy playgroups (for puppies up to 6 months old)
- Community dog walks
- Free veterinary health checks and discounted microchipping
- Dog park etiquette lessons
- Expert-led seminars covering:
- Preparing for a new puppy
- Dog body language
- Helping a reactive dog
- Reducing barking
- Preparing pets for the arrival of a new baby
- Caring for senior pets
- ... and more!
Bookings are essential, and all events are open to book now.
Check out the event page on our website.
