Do you know someone who makes our City of Charles Sturt a better place to live, work and play?
Now’s your chance to celebrate them by nominating for the Citizen of the Year Awards.
Nominations can be for an individual or a community group – anyone who goes above and beyond to support others, builds community spirit, or achieves something worth celebrating. It could be a neighbour who always steps up, a volunteer who works tirelessly behind the scenes, or a local event that brings people together.
Award categories:
- Citizen of the Year – for outstanding contributions to the community through leadership and/or voluntary service.
- Young Citizen of the Year – for exceptional young people under 30 years.
- Senior Citizen of the Year – for inspiring contributions from those aged 65 years and over.
- Community Event/Group of the Year – for an organisation or group that has delivered an outstanding community event or service.
Nominations are open now and close Friday 20 November 2026.
