Our Treebate: Tree Rebate Scheme is bigger and better than ever.
We’ve doubled the rebate amount of 50% of the purchase price to ‘treebate’ a maximum of $100 per tree for all trees purchased from 1 July 2025. For example, if you buy and plant a tree for $200, we’ll provide a $100 rebate.
Residents and landlords can apply for rebates on up to three trees per property. Businesses, schools and strata groups can claim up to 10 trees.
Trees cool, green and beautify our community while providing valuable habitat for wildlife and improve our City’s climate resilience for future generations. This program is an important part of our commitment to work with residents to expand our City’s tree canopy coverage and achieve a tree canopy target of 25% by 2045.
To apply, simply purchase and plant your tree, keep your tax invoice, and submit an application online.
