SA Week of Ageing Well

26 September 2025

South Australia's Week of Ageing Well

From 1–7 October 2025, South Australia will hold its Week of Ageing Well, an annual celebration and awareness initiative encouraging all South Australians to reflect on what it means to age well, to challenge ageism, and to champion connections, inclusion, and meaningful activity in later life.

We are proud to take part, with local programs and events that promote health, connection, learning, and community engagement for older residents.

Upcoming events:

Storytelling workshop (60+) with Caitlin O’Toole - This interactive workshop will help you uncover and share yours.

Laughter Club for over 65's - A fun & uplifting 4-week Laughter Club with gentle movement, breathing & laughter to boost wellbeing, joy & connection.

Our Stories Our Strengths - We're inviting you to share a story that reflects your life, reflections and experiences on ageing well.

Ongoing programs:

These programs run regularly in our local community centres and are a great way to stay engaged, learn new skills, and build social connections.
