Make the most of the new Federal Rebates and be part of the City of Charles Sturt's Community Renewables program.
ShineHub is excited to launch a Flash Bulk Buy for our residents, helping to access affordable solar and battery solutions that will save money and be part of our long term vision to establish a local renewable energy network that powers our community sustainably into the future.
The Community Renewables Program is for anyone who wants to:
- add a new solar or battery system to their home (with no upfront cost options available)
- upgrade an old and outdated solar system
- add a new or another battery to their existing system
As a Council we are committed to reducing our carbon emissions. We continue to invest in renewables solutions for our City following our Climate Emergency declaration in 2019.
Why get involved?
Purchase your solar and batteries through our 2025 Flash Bulk Buy program to access affordable renewables solutions for your home and save on your power bills. There are no upfront costs to get involved.
The next stage will be the establishment of a Virtual Power Plant (VPP), turning it into a community network.
What do I do next?
Register your interest and one of the ShineHub team will be in touch to find a system that best suits your household.
Are you a business in our City?
ShineHub will be hosting a Commercial Bulk Buy event with the Cities of Charles Sturt and Mitcham on Wednesday 6 August.
