New Dry Zones in West Lakes Reserves
Following a community consultation, nine additional reserves in West Lakes are now designated 24/7 alcohol-free zones.
This decision reflects strong community feedback and supports our shared goal of creating safe, inclusive and welcoming public spaces for all.
The new areas include:
- Aquatic Reserve
- Dotterel Reserve
- Freshwater Lake Reserve
- Inlet Reserve
- Mariners Reserve
- Neighbourhood Reserve
- Oarsman Reserve
- Settlers Reserve
- Tiranna Reserve
- Trust Reserve
These sites join existing alcohol-free areas across the City of Charles Sturt, helping to promote a safe and family-friendly environment in our community spaces.
What’s changed?
- New signage has been installed across all nine reserves to inform visitors of the Dry Zone designation.
- SA Police are responsible for enforcement. If you need assistance or observe a breach, please contact the non-emergency police line on 131 444.
Thank you for your feedback
