26 March 2025
It’s nearly that time for our next dog-related community event and we're trying something new this year.
In 2025 we’re swapping our old Doggy Day on the Green for a new Doggy Day in May.
Doggy Day in May includes a number of free educational events and activities focused on dog training and behaviour.
These events are FREE, and include:
- Puppy playgroups (for puppies under 14weeks of age)
- Dog park etiquette sessions at Semapaw Park and Pooch Park
- A Community Dog Walk at Point Malcolm Reserve (partnered with ChipBlitz for affordable microchipping)
- Seminars on:
- Preparing for a new puppy
- Dog Body Language
- Helping a reactive dog
- Reducing barking
- Dogs and Storks (preparing your dog for the arrival of a new baby) – run by dog trainer Canine Interaction
- Arthritis and pain management in dogs – run by Horizon Palliative Vets
Bookings are essential, so make sure to get in quick before these paw-some events get booked out!
