Volunteers are the heartbeat of our City.
Contributing to our vibrant community through visiting services, shopping assistance, graffiti removal, gardening, animal management, sporting clubs and across our libraries and community centres, volunteers are invaluable to the services we offer.
National Volunteer Week gives us a chance to say ‘Thank You’ to all our dedicated volunteers. The theme of the week, which runs from 20 - 26 May is Something for Everyone.
Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, make friends, and give back to the community, with millions of Australians dedicating countless hours every year to help others.
Thank you - your contribution means the world.
