What can you do to encourage your local community and make a difference?
This was the question we posed to a group of 5 young people from 4 different schools, when we embarked on our animation project.
Firstly we shared a series of themes and asked the group to come up with ideas where they could make a difference. Next we partnered with Frankie Films who mentored the group to bring their ideas to life via animation. Lastly, it was time to add sound and the group had a great time voicing the characters they created.
The results were four fantastic videos which cover the topics of volunteering, organising a clean up, making our parks more inclusive and providing feedback to your local council.
We can’t wait to share these with young people across our City to show a few simple ways to make a difference.
