Our coastline is currently at risk due to the sand erosion happening at our beaches and this will have significant environmental and economic impacts without ongoing and sustainable sand management solutions.

The Department of Environment and Water (DEW) are responsible for the management of our beaches and are currently conducting an Adelaide Beach Management Review.  We encourage all of our community to have their say on the future of our beaches.

The Department will use your feedback to advise an Independent Advisory Panel and State Government on the community’s opinion in relation to various coastal management approaches, which are also the subject of an independent scientific review.
