Storm Support and Information

18 November 2022

Following the storm on Saturday 12 November 2022, our team have received a lot of requests for fallen tree branches and are working on the storm clean up as a priority. We are again expecting heavy rainfall on Saturday 19 November 2022.

Community Self Help Sand Bag Location
As a precaution, a Community Self Help Sand Bag Location be available at Charles Road, Beverley (from 2pm Friday 18 November) for anyone concerned about possible flooding of their properties.

Sand and bags are available, but you will need to bring your own shovel to fill the bags. A limited number of filled sandbags will be provided on the verge on Toogood Avenue, Beverley (across from the Recycling and Waste Centre). These are provided on a first come first service basis.

Sand and bags will be available until the rain passes and/or we run out of these supplies. Our staff will deliver sand bags to known high risk addresses. We will continue to monitor the situation and advise further if it becomes a concern.
