At this week’s Council meeting, the federal funding projects and the extension of the COVID Hardship Policy and outdoor dining policy were endorsed. This is fantastic news for our community, with relief for those experiencing financial hardship, support for local businesses with reduced fees, and new amenities for all of the community to enjoy with stimulus grants of $3,991,486 received, thanks to the Federal Government.
Federal Funding Projects
A number of our capital projects will benefit from the grants, which involve a total of $5,210,000 in works, for completion over the coming year.

COVID Hardship Policy Extension
The extension, until 30 April 2021, will ensure that those residents experiencing hardship due to COVID can receive the necessary support in the payment of their rates. Outdoor Dining Policy
