Found dogs without a microchip or clear identification are held for 72 hours by Council pending collection by owner or owner agent.

Please note: Proof of ownership is required at the time of collection. All fees related to impounding dogs including any outstanding dog registration payments are charged to the dog owner or person collecting the dog. Fees must be paid in full before the dog can be released.

You can inspect the dogs between 9am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
