Proposed Wombat Crossing

During recent discussions with Findon residents, pedestrian safety and accessibility were identified as key concerns, particularly when crossing near the bend at Rondo Avenue and Winona Street.

Feedback highlighted the need for a clearer and safer crossing point that prioritises people walking.

In response, we are proposing to install a Raised Pedestrian Crossing (Wombat Crossing) at the bend of Rondo Avenue and Winona Street.

Ray Street Reserve Upgrade:

Following community requests, we will be upgrading and installing new amenities at Ray Street Reserve in Findon. With more people using the reserve, these improvements will help meet the needs of the growing community. Click here to view a copy of the concept plan. 

Works are expected to start in late April and expected to finish by the end of June 2026.
