Defence kidz

Defence Kidz is a national Australian charity dedicated to empowering and supporting children from Defence and veteran families.We advocate for better recognition, policy reform, and practical support for military-connected children, ensuring no child feels invisible due to their parent’s service. Our work supports children of current serving members, former serving members, reservists, and veteran families, regardless of posting status, transition, injury, illness, or loss.Defence Kidz delivers advocacy, education, and practical resources to families across Australia and those posted overseas. A key part of this support is the Defence Kidz Online Hub, which provides a growing library of free, accessible resources for children, parents, schools, and communities. These resources are designed to help children navigate relocation, deployments, transition, and everyday challenges associated with Defence life.Through children’s books, digital tools, school-based initiatives, community events, and partnerships with government and industry, Defence Kidz works to ensure Defence children are identified, supported, and valued.
