Connect, discover, inspire

Our libraries help you connect with the community, lead you on the path to discover new things, and provide ways to inspire you.

From the city to the sea, we have 5 libraries across the Charles Sturt Council area: Civic (Woodville), Findon, Hindmarsh, Ngutungka West Lakes (Ngutungka Henley is currently under construction, to open December 2024), as well as a Mobile Library and Home Library Service.

Attend one of our many free events for children, adults, or digital literacy for those wanting to learn more about technology.

Our large collection includes an extensive range of community languages, 24/7 access to our digital library, and access to the OneCard network with over 3 million items.

Latest update on honey for sale at our libraries

We look forward to a brighter environment for the bees in 2024 and the return of raw honey for sale at our Civic (Woodville) Library.

Unfortunately 2023 has seen us have an uncharacteristically wet year. Along with the rain came wind and both of these climatic occurrences have disrupted the bees resources and their ability to forage.

We are hoping to see honey begin to show in hives early in the year and then it's a matter of allowing the bees to build their supplies before we look to harvest the surplus if produced.

We will keep you updated on their progress.
