Spad Street Reserve is now open.

In 2022, Council allocated funds and also received State and Federal Government funding to purchase and develop the land at 15-25 Spad Street, Albert Park, as a new reserve for the community. This project forms part of the Your Neighbourhood Plan.

Following community consultation in January and February 2023, we finalised the design and the new Spad Street Reserve includes:

• A new playground with inclusive equipment (variety of ages & abilities)
• Seating and shaded rest areas
• Tree and vegetation planting
• Open lawn space
• Lighting
• Drinking fountain and dog bowl and top
• Fencing and entry gate
• Paths, including small nature walk.
