We visit 10 schools in the City of Charles Sturt for vaccinations each year. Each child receives a post-vaccination record and a safety information leaflet.

  • Woodville High School
  • Henley High School
  • Findon High School
  • Seaton High School
  • Bowden/Brompton Community School
  • The Grove Education Centre
  • Australian Islamic College
  • St Michael's College
  • Nazareth Catholic College
  • Ngutu College

Students may receive the following vaccinations

Year 7: Human Papilloma Virus (Gardasil), and a booster dose of Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (Whooping Cough), (Boostrix)

Year 10: Meningococcal B (Bexsero) and Meningococcal ACWY (Nimenrix)

Absent Students

If a student has returned a signed consent form to school, and they are absent on the day of immunisation, a follow-up letter and SMS is sent to the parent/guardian. Please book another appointment online for any missed school vaccinations.

The student can attend another local council immunisation clinic with their parent/guardian to receive a free catch-up dose that was missed at school. Please note that GP providers may charge you for the consult and vaccine.

Workplace vaccination

On-site workplace vaccination visits are available.

We offer workplace visits for flu, Hepatitis A/B and Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping Cough (Boostrix) vaccinations.

The rate is $110 an hour (plus vaccine cost). There is a minimum one-hour charge, after that the rate is applied in 15-minute increments.

To arrange a workplace visit, complete an application form and a staff member will contact you.

Overseas catch-up program

If you need to make an enquiry about your immunisation history, call us on 8408 1111.

You must bring all previous immunisation records and your Medicare card to the immunisation clinic.

Overseas History Assessment fee of $50 includes entering overseas records to the Australian Immunisation Register.

The scheduled vaccines on the National Immunisation Program are not always funded for catch-up vaccinations. Funded catch-up vaccines depend upon your child's date of birth and the date the vaccine was introduced onto the National Immunisation Program.

For new residents to Australia, funded catch-up vaccination also depends on your Medicare card status.

Missed Vaccinations

If your child has missed any scheduled vaccines these are available to be given free for those under the age of 20 for Medicare card holders.

Please bring any previous immunisation records to the appointment.
