Construction is well underway on Spad Street Reserve, a new local park in Albert Park.

The 3000 m2 local reserve is being developed at the corner of Farman Avenue and Spad Street, Albert Park and has been designed with input from the local community. The need for open space in this area was identified through Your Neighbourhood Plan. With new playground, seating and shaded areas, open lawn and new pathways, it will cater for multiple age groups and activities. This project represents a major funding commitment from the City of Charles Sturt with support from State and Federal governments.

We can't wait to see the final designs for this reserve come to life over the next few months, with an anticipated completion date around end-June 2024. The reserve will open in July 2024.
