The all new Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre

Redeveloped in 2018 to comply with EPA legislative requirements as well as Work Health and Safety requirements, the new and improved waste centre has a new disposal area, a “Sort n Save” recycling process, improved way finding, customer service and an increase in site safety. If you have a car load, a boot load, or a trailer load (or more) of waste, organics or recycling to get rid of; visit the Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre.

Fees and Charges

These prices include GST and the $100.00 per tonne EPA Solid Waste Levy.
Eftpos facilities are available.

What we accept:

  • General Waste (Includes: the solid component of commercial, industrial, government, public or household waste, and all items not otherwise listed (except for any item included under 'what we do not accept' below).
  • Construction & Demolition (Includes: concrete, asphalt, treated timber, rock, excavation stone & unclean brick or soil. If segregated, untreated or painted timber & steel, will be charged at a lower rate).
  • Green Waste (The vegetative portion of the waste stream, including waste from domestic and commercial premises and government/council operations. Segregated, untreated timber can be processed as green waste).
  • Clean Brick/Soil (Must include these materials only - no green organics, timber, building materials, rubble or concrete, etc.)
  • Paint (Includes: unwanted paint and packaging from both trade and DIY painters. Up to 100 litres per vehicle, per visit, secured in containers of 20 litres or less at no charge). The Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre is now a free Paintback collection point for unwanted paint. Paintback aims to divert paint from landfill; recycling steel and plastic packaging, with solvent paint used to replace fossil fuels and water in latex paint re-used in industrial processes.   • E-Waste (TVs and computers)
  • Tyres (4WD, car and truck tyres - off or on rim).

What we DO NOT accept:

  • Gas bottles
  • Cement sheeting
  • Vinyl flooring

The depot is open on the first Tuesday of every month (excluding public holidays) between 9am and midday.

No business/commercial wastes accepted.

Items the depot will accept:

  • Acids/alkalis;
  • Batteries;
  • Gas bottles;
  • Herbicides;
  • Insecticides;
  • Paints;
  • Pesticides;
  • Pharmaceuticals;
  • Pool chemicals;
  • Solvents (such as paint thinners);
  • Stains;
  • Varnishes;
  • Waste oil.

Items the depot will not accept:

  • Ammunition or explosives (contact the Police);
  • Asbestos (contact EPA or Department of Administrative & Information Services);
  • Pressurised gas cylinders (contact the EPA);
  • Radioactive materials (contact the EPA Radiation Branch);
  • Tyres (contact the EPA).

This service is provided free of charge by Zero Waste SA for all households.
