An Update to Tree Maintenance Requests

An Update to Tree Maintenance Requests

In our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our urban trees and community, we conduct regular inspections and maintenance as part of our comprehensive 3-year Whole Street Pruning Program.  This work ensures any necessary pruning to ensure footpath and road clearance is maintained and to minimise potential hazards.

Outside of our Whole Street Pruning Program, we receive maintenance requests from our community, including pruning needs. Upon receiving a request, our certified arborists assess the tree in question to determine the necessary work and prioritise based on urgency. For maintenance requests concerning trees directly in front of a requester’s property, we aim to leave a calling card in the letterbox after our inspection with an update.

This year, we've experienced a significant increase in tree maintenance requests, leading to anticipated delays in our response times. Our team are working hard to prioritise the most urgent requests and schedule in non-urgent requests accordingly. We're committed to keeping you informed with an estimated completion date for your request and appreciate your patience as we navigate through these busy times.

If you need to report a tree that requires our attention, please complete the Tree Maintenance Request Form. If a tree or fallen branch is causing an immediate hazard please contact us on 8408 1111.
