Current Projects - Roads & Traffic

Charles Sturt maintains approximately 550 kilometres of roadway throughout the City. Our roads capital works program provides a regular program of localised repairs, street sweeping, resealing and reconstruction. Council also continues to monitor traffic movements throughout the City and, where warranted, looks at installing traffic calming devices and other road safety measures as a means to increase road safety and manage local traffic conditions and inappropriate use of streets.
