Free Bike Hire

OPAL Vitality logoWith the support of Charles Sturt and OPAL, Adelaide City Bikes have expanded their FREE bike hire service to our community!

There is a lot to see and do in Charles Sturt when you loan a bike for the day, such as visiting the many parks, places, playgrounds and cultural and historic sites.

Bike SAActivities to try when you hire a bike

  • Enjoy walking trails, cycling tracks, bird watching and picnic areas along the river Torrens and linear park.
  • Visit the coast and enjoy a walk on the beach.
  • Try out some Geocaching - a real world treasure hunt. Who knows what you might find!
  • Catch the train or ride into Adelaide city and visit many of its attractions including the Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Zoo, Central Markets and many other cultural and historic attractions.

Residents, visitors and workers can hire bikes from the locations listed below. Children’s bikes are available at selected locations.
