Doggy Day at the Beach

Doggy Day at the Beach is an annual fun-filled, educational event for dogs and their humans at Henley Square.

Doggy Day at the Beach

The event promotes changes to on-leash requirements on the foreshore with the arrival of daylight saving, as well as the importance of responsible dog ownership, dog safety and Charles Sturt's role in animal management. Click here to learn more about leash laws and responsbilities.

We have dog-related stalls and activities, giveaways, a jetty-to-jetty dog walk (usually at midday), and a BBQ for a gold coin donation with proceeds going to charity. It's a chance to chat to your animal management officers, learn about the recently introduced Dog and Cat Management laws and more.
