COVID-19 Update

Given the unfolding situation relating to COVID-19 in Australia and across the world, here at the City of Charles Sturt we want to be proactive and clear about how we can stay healthy and are making changes to the way we do things. We will continue to provide updates to the services and events that are impacted along with the latest information and recommendations from WHO, SA Health and the Government.

Round 2 Funding Open for Sporting Clubs

Round 2 of our Recovering Clubs in COVID-19 Grant is now open to support local sporting clubs in their return to training and competition.

Eligible clubs can apply for assistance to help cover some of the key costs associated with managing the impacts of COVID-19 and their safe return to action. Grants of up to $1,000 plus GST are available for eligible clubs who successfully apply.

The program forms an important part of our overall Economic Support and Stimulus Package, which will inject $100.5 million across our community over the next two years.

Clubs successfully funded in Round 1 of the program are able to apply for Round 2 but are only eligible if their Round 1 funding was acquitted.

We’re proud to continue our commitment to our community in negotiating the challenges of the pandemic across our City.

Applications close at close of business on Friday, 2 October or once funding has been exhausted.
