Funding and assistance for local sporting clubs is now available as part of the City of Charles Sturt’s Economic Support and Stimulus Package.

Eligible, not-for-profit sporting clubs within the City of Charles Sturt can apply for financial support up to a maximum of $500 (plus GST) to aid their return to training and competition in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This initiative aims to help clubs get back on their feet, reconnect with the community and return to action safely.

The Recovering Clubs in COVID-19 program forms a key part of our $100.5 million dollar Economic Support and Stimulus Package across the next two years.

We are committed to assisting our residents, sporting clubs and local businesses as we all work together to recover from the impacts of the pandemic and prepare for the future.

The first round of applications for the Recovering Clubs in COVID-19 program has closed. Round 2 will be open on Monday 31 August 2020.
