As we have seen with our Victorian counterparts, the COVID situation remains front of mind. As a result of the spread of COVID within Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, across Australia there is a tightening of restrictions including here in South Australia.
For us here in SA, community based transmission has not occurred although cases continue to be traced. In summary, this continues to be really good news for our state, and the aim of the State Government is to ensure we are able to maintain this into the future.
We know some of our community may be watching the events in Victoria with concern (particularly if you have friends or family there), but it’s also a timely reminder to:
- Continue to practice strict physical distancing
- Wash your hands and follow good hygiene measures
- If you feel unwell, please isolate, seek a test from a COVID-19 clinic or visit your doctor.
We will continue to review our services and activities here at Charles Sturt and, if necessary, make changes to align with revised guidelines or restrictions. Any changes, we will update here and on Facebook. In the meantime, should you have a questions or require information from us, we’re here for you:

The health and wellbeing of our Charles Sturt community, and our broader national and international communities, is our priority. For support and further COVID-related health advice visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au or www.health.gov.au
