During December 2020 the application for the proposed ‘Telstra Monopole’ (252/2746/20) underwent the public statutory notification process. During this time a large number of representations were submitted to Council. Given the substantial number of issues or queries submitted and the complex nature of the response required, the applicant has requested an extension of time to provide an informed response to Council. This is not uncommon with such applications. An extension of time of three months has been granted to the applicant to provide a written response.

Upon receipt of the applicant’s response, Council staff will finalise the assessment of the application such that the matter can be placed before the Council Assessment Panel for a decision.

Advice regarding the date of the Council Assessment Panel meeting will be circulated when a meeting date has been established.
