New stops added to Henley Beach
Our mobile library, Moby, will be returning to Henley Beach - following the temporary closure of Henley Beach Library (while we build Ngutungka Henley).
Moby will be making regular monthly stops at these two points:
Atkin St - 3:00pm - 4:00pm (In front of Henley & Grange Art Society)
Starting Wednesday 29 November, making monthly visits on a Wednesday (excluding Wednesday December 27).
Dates: 29/11/2023, 24/01/2024, 21/02/2024, 20/03/2024, 17/04/2024, 15/05/2024, 12/06/2024.
Henley Bowling Club - 11:15am - 12:15pm (On East Terrace Side)
Starting Monday 11 December, making monthly visits on a Monday.
Dates: 11/12/2023, 8/01/2024, 5/02/2024, 4/03/2024, 29/04/2024, 27/05/2024, 24/06/2024.
What is the Mobile Library service?
The Mobile Library is part of our ‘libraries without borders,’ a service that expands our libraries beyond our branches. It's a library that comes to you.
Our Mobile Library operates throughout the year; providing lending and information services to shopping centres, retirement villages, and a variety of street locations all within the City of Charles Sturt.
Our state of the art van includes public wi-fi, wheelchair access, pull out seating and charging stations powered by our very own solar panels. Of course our collection is still top-notch too, with a wide variety of items to borrow.
The van visits public locations on a four week rotation. To see the locations for 2023, check out the map below. Just click
